Some of these reviews SHOCK me. Dr. Battiata is one of the best doctors I've ever seen and the ONLY one who thoroughly addressed and managed my allergy issues. I moved two hours away from his practice two years ago, but I travel back to see him for my allergy management and most likely always will. I have a unique adverse reaction to a certain class of meds that limits my ability to treat my arthritis. He mentioned to me at my last visit that there was a new drug he thought I could tolerate (and he was right). I hadn't asked him about this. He must have thought of me (because he cares about his patients) when he read about the new medication and then made a point to tell me about it at my next visit. I've gone to other EENTs; Dr. Battiata is the most knowledgeable, most caring, and most thorough of them all.

We had the worse ever experience with this doctor in his office. Not only was he impatient and rude, he did not show ANY interest in the problems and concerns, said he did not know anything about the issue. The entire appointment felt he had to put a check mark and get away from the office and a patient. If there was NO stars signed, I would not even give one. Waste of time and money. Unhelpful, not listening, not willing to listen or even think about the problem. Should be fired and prohibited to work with people.

Dr Battiata and his Staff was so sweet and nice. Dr Battiata sent me to AuGusta where I had my surgery at AuGusta University Hospital. And the Staff there was great there as well They took very good care of me.

I had a great experience with Dr. Battiata today. It was honestly the exact opposite from an earlier review which is why I bothered coming back to write this. He was very detailed and explained everything I could have ever wanted to know plus some. I would highly recommend him and the staff there was great. I wish I had of used him when I had my tonsils removed years ago, I'm sure that it would have been a better experience.

Everything was fine up until the actual day of the procedure. They called me gave me a date and time 2-3 weeks prior and said they'd text me a few days before to confirm the appointment. They texted me 2 days before with a REMINDER, I was busy at the time and just skimmed through the text. I already knew it was from them so I replied thank you to confirm. The day of the appointment, I was getting ready and got a call from them asking if I was on my way. I let them know I was scheduled to be there by 11:15am. But they said they had rescheduled me for 8:55am. I never got an actual call from them to let me know they changed the time, only a REMINDER text. I had it stuck in my head to be there at the time they first and only time they called me. So with that. They canceled on me. Told me to get in touch with the office for rescheduling. I did, no answer, left a message. No call back. I finally got a hold of them on Monday. And the lady who does the scheduling told me that the Dr said, he was not going to reschedule. I was baffled and asked why. They said because we were a no show. Which I said that's not what happened. Explained to her everything that happened, again. And she said, he didn't want to do the procedure because of that. Total bullsh*t! They had the nerve to reschedule someone WITHOUT letting them know BEFORE a REMINDER text. A REMINDER text is to remind one of the time and date that was told to them the first time!!! Now my 6 year old with chronic ear infections and sleep apnea has to wait longer. Antibiotics don't help him. Thanks for nothing!
