My family has gone to WKD for about seven years, and it’s been great. My wife and I don’t recall ever having any negative experiences with the front desk, I saw this in prior reviews so wanted to mention it. All of the dental hygienists we have seen have been polite, conversational, professional and were gentle with our teeth! The two dentists are very professional and work quickly. We have a young daughter with a genetic disorder and they have done their best to see her and accommodate which we appreciated. We ended up taking her to a pediatric dentist who specializes in special needs children, but again, we really appreciate the fact that WKD was willing to accommodate and never refuse to see her and tried their best to provide care.

well i agree the front desk are terrible. first i told them my 9yo grand had NO insurance, well for her first visit it was $295 and wanted extra for fluoride??went home and called two places near them and they said one was $73 and other was $97..with all x rays and all in other words they dont care if you have insurance or not. now for me im 72yo and while i was there with grand i told them i had BC BS medicare and asked them two other times on phone and could not give me a answer. well time for check up and i called the day before and they said i did not have insurance. well i cancelled and called another dentist on platt springs and it was dr west columbia dental across from spectrum and right then they told me the cleaning is free and for my grand $73 first visit.ONE CALL.lazy staff and they only care about $$$$$$$$

I bought a home close to this practice and it was time for a six month cleaning. All was well until I was honest about having hep. C diagnosed 25 years earlier. I was told that They refused to treat me. This has been a few years ago and still bothered by the hate I was shown. I love Jesus. I hope that I do nothing but help another patient not to choose this business.

Have had a good experience with both Dr Backman and Dr Panella. I do not care for the receptionist. She needs an attitude overhaul. She is just plain rude.
