These are good people. Starting with: they accept Medicare Insurance Plans. Why would any Dentist office not. I can tell you, The Medicare plans don't pay the higher cost most Dentist offices charge. These people are the future of Medicine, do an excellent job, do it with caring and professional attitude, and do it at a reasonable cost. This was a great experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, and also don't have dental insurance. The staff was friendly and efficient throughout. They walked me through the procedures, which took about a quarter of the time that they have at other dental offices. The xrays and photos were all digital and instant, and Dr. Thorner was awesome.nnI ended up needing two fillings and it was the quickest and most painless process I've had at a dentist office. In addition, Dr. Thorner was able to fix up some old fillings that were bothering me.nnWill definitely be my new dental go to and will be sending everybody I know over.

Very nice, clean, friendly dental office. Staff was excellent. Dr Thorner actually sat and took time to discuss options and listen to my concerns. I highly recommend.

I have looked over some of the other reviews and I sure wish my husband had received the kind of treatment that these other people say they received. Understand that I am the type of person who posts reviews based on personal experience with the business, sometimes good and sometimes bad. I hate for this review to be the first negative review for Lexington Modern Dentistry but it will just have to be. My husband went to this place several weeks ago for a consultation to make plans to correct some teeth which were broken. Consultation went fine. He was given two options to consider. One option was slightly more expensive than the other but the procedure could be completed all at once rather than over time and that was the choice he made. Appointment was made for today. He arrives and was told the amount due. It was nearly $300 higher than the quoted price but my husband paid it without question. He goes back to the room to meet with the dentist. He asked the assistant if all the work was, in fact, going to be completed in that visit. She said no it wasn't. His response was yes, it is. That is what the doctor and I discussed and that is what I am expecting. She became rude and insisted that it would not be complete during that visit. However, she left the room, came back and stated that the work would be finished IF he paid ANOTHER $200! Of course, he refused. During all the discussions going on between my husband and this assistant, another assistant came in with the mould putty to place in his mouth to make the impression. She attempts to go into his mouth to insert the gel type substance they use with the putty DIRECTLY ONTO HIS TEETH. He stops her and so does the original assistant. This gel is supposed to go on the putty, not the teeth. So then the second assistant again attempts to place the mould putty in his mouth but on the bottom set of teeth. The work to be performed was on the top! Again, he stops her. He wanted to see the dentist. The dentist came in, oblivious to everything that had been going on. He approaches my husband to begin work. My husband stops him to explain what had been going on. He reviews the agreed plan of treatment with the dentist, to which the doctor agreed. My husband tells him that apparently NO ONE else in the building was aware of the plan. The original assistant tells my husband that he needs to leave. WHAT?! Really? So my husband asks the doctor who was in charge. He assumed the dentist was in charge but no he isn't. Never did get an answer to that question. So my husband gets up out of the chair and the assistant snatched the dental tube from his neck, tearing it. So he snatched the rest off and threw it in the floor. She said she was calling the police. He said go ahead. She kept insisting he leave to which he replied no. He waited on the police so he could explain his side to them. The officers asked the dentist who was in charge. Still no answer! They let my husband leave.nTHIS PLACE HAS NO BUSINESS DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC AT ALL! With I could give it 0 stars.
