Another Great Reason to visit the Upstate. Symphonies on the Lawn, Great walks and the rose Garden at Furman University. There is even a Starbucks at the Student Center. There are lecturers from around the world, exhibits, and forward thinking that is helping shape the future landscape of the Region.nLearn about the history of this University and experience the future of First Class Education with Southern Flare.
The prices are very high and the education ins't great, but the campus is the most beautiful I have ever seen. It also has a great atmosphere with lots of very nice staff and students.
Beautiful campus grounds for those who want a scenic hike, attached to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Great for taking scenic pictures, walking the dog, or admiring the Georgian architecture. Public restroom available, multiple trails, a lake, streams, a bell tower, fountains, etc... will be back to explore further for sure!
Not a student, but we went for a very enjoyable walk around campus with our dogs. The campus, especially the lake, the koi ponds, and rose garden, is very pretty and we enjoyed how there was parking near Swan Lake. Worth the visit around nice to see a private university readily open to the public.
A great place for recreation. There are beautiful views everywhere - the whole campus is very picturesque.
