A scenic 2.5 miles loop. Would recommend going counterclockwise if you don’t want to ascend the steeper section. Half of the trail is bike friendly so keep an eye out. Parts of the trail were a little muddy down by the stream, but nothing were you would have to get wet (in January).

Great challenging trail. Hiked in May and views were limited but it was a great workout. If you go clockwise on the trail the first half is easy. But once you cross the road that splits the trail it turns very challenging. Steep climb on a very narrow trail. We hiked with a 10,7, and 4 year old. The 10 and 7 year old loved it. It was very tough for the four year old but she made it to the finish all on her own.

This is a good technical trail for mountain bikers. I dont recommend it for running just for the fact of the numerous amount I'd logs, roots, rocks and more. It is definitely a risk of turning an ankle. But the view is amazing if and the trail is well kept!
