We love it! Volunteering here is very rewarding. The staff are professional, knowledgable, and caring. The facility is clean and well organized. The key is that they care deeply about every animal entrusted to their care.

Sorry excuse for an animal rescue! Rude workers! VERY RUDE! Every time an animal gets dumped at my house and I try to take them there and they ALWAYS have an excuse of why they can’t take them! So have to drive to drive all the way to the SPCA cause they always take them, and take excellent care of them along with finding them a home! Second chance is TRASH!

We found the sweetest puppy on North End of Lake Marion who Olivia named Lucky she was apparently abandoned by the owner due to a prolapsed anis. We called several vets in the area to help Lucky and not one of them would help!!! That was so frustrating to me being that they make good money you would think one would have a ❤ufe0f!! The only place that showed compassion and love is the Second Chance Shelter for animals. They did not even ask for s donation but we did give them $100.00 and my goal for the rest of my life is to find ways to help The Second Chance Shelter for taking care of all the animals who are left behind !! May God Bless this shelter any any one out there who has spare change let’s him them like they love and give our fur babies a second chance !!
