I love Gary's Best they are considerate and respectful. There Dogs are 100% beef and taste great. I go here for a quick bite at a good price.

I can't believe I have spent almost 47 years in New Bedford and and driven by this place easily over a thousand times. It took a friend of mine saying I really had to try the hot dogs at Gary's Best and actually going out of his way to take me there. I have to say I came away thoroughly impressed. I can say with complete confidence that the hot dogs that I ate today are the best hot dogs I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I had two types - the works, and I think the other type was called the buffalo bill. Ate three hot dogs in total and was definitely no longer hungry, but if I had three more in front of me I would have eaten them. Delicious. Everything from the bread to the condiments and the actual hot dog was perfect. My friend jokingly said you haven't lived if you haven't had a hot dog from Gary's Best. I have to say that I now agree with him. It's unfortunate it took me so long to stop at this hot dog stand. Don't make the same mistake I did, stop by and grab a hot dog or two, heck grab 3. You'll be glad you did.

Best place to go for a quick lunch, steamed dogs, toppings of your choice, variety of chips and drinks and very reasonable. If you don't like dogs there are a few other choices.

Solid go to for lunch. Hot dogs are decent but the linguica sandwich is really good on a bulkie roll. I always get a cold coffee milk to finish it off.
