This is an amazing restaurant! The staff are friendly and helpful! You always can expect clean tables floors and bathrooms... The decor is always slightly updated and fun. I appreciate the variety and consistency the shop offers. The outdoor seating is amazing when the weather is nice and the location to the nearby legacy Park is perfect for an after-dinner walk. The best part about McAlister's is there kids meals and menu. The fact that you can order such an inexpensive delicious meal for your kids is totally the reason my wife and I frequent this establishment! Quality and service are key at this place.

Their mobile app is easy to use for ordering ahead. Food always taste fresh and orders are typically accurate. We love the sweet tea (also good with the lemonade!). Employees are masked appropriately and tables are spaced out/clearly marked.

I was really perplexed on this review.nWe have had hit and miss as different locations and unfortunately this was a miss.nWe were in Norman and stopped for an early dinner.nEvery other table was marked for social distancing.nThe tables were dirty. At 5:00 going into dinner service I would have expected a clean restaurant ready for dinner service.nService was quick as it was nearly empty.nNo one offered refills.nSandwiches were OK.nFrech dip my wife thought it was good and Spicy Southwest Chicken the meat portion is skimpy but the sandwich had good flavor.nFresh fruit cup was skimpy at best.

I have wanted to try this place several times, but one of my young family members worked at McAlister's for a very short time, and knowing how they treat the staff, I just haven't been able to bring myself to eat there. They refused to give him a full 8 hour shift, and would only give him short split shifts, as apparently they don't make enough money, or refuse to pay staff properly enough to give them legitimate work schedules. I don't care for businesses who engage in what seems like it's dealing in slave labor. Support our citizens! They have family too!... who will reflect on what they have learned!

Good food and good service. Please next time let us know that the side salads are not a sandwich add on option and are 2.97 extra. Multiply that by a few meals and it adds up fast. Thank you.
