The atmosphere here is very nostalgic and fits the name accordingly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food about what you'd expect at a diner... And tasted delicious. I love that they have an all-day breakfast and are very flexible with plates. A large group might be difficult but a small lunch meeting is perfect for this type of place.
A real quaint little place. Staff super friendly, food was awesome! The advertising best breakfast in Norman stands true! Blueberry pancakes were great, wish the gravy had sausage in it,bacon nice and crisp. Waitress gave us a taste of the BBQ hash, tasted like a roast with a little spice. Not bad. Didn't try any of the chili dishes. Great place, about 10 dollar breakfast! Definitely would go back!
Placed an order on Door Dash and waited for about an hour, then the Diner cancelled my door dash order. When I called, they acted like they didnt know what happened. Do not recommend.nnEdit: With all due respect, people are understanding. You can explain to people what is going on. Secondly, I had already waited an hour. Extremely disappointing.
I really enjoyed their meatloaf. The best I've had in the area. Wish they served it everyday. It is only served on thursdays.
The place was cozy and inviting. The service was top notch. The cook was on point. The only thing we did not like is the $5 coffee that tasted bad. The picture shows the very back of the Diner where they placed the state of Oklahoma into the wood panels.
