Has two stalls in bathroom, no stall doors, no shower. Mostly clean, fairly quiet at night, large sites (primitive), easy water access.
The bridge on the dock almost killed me. It has a hole in it, is super slick and the metal grate could chop off a toe. The dock has a gaping hole in it too and jerks use it as a trashcan. Be careful. Otherwise beautiful area.
After returning to this location after several years this used to be my go-to spot for camping it was nice to return and see that it was open first of all and still going strong the water level is really low on this side of the lake. So still had to drive across Alameda Bridge to catch the boat
Like to camp here the water is shallow and you can almost walk ud83dudeb6 all the way across the area
A cool day use place at Thunderbird Lake.
