Nice RV and tent site. Been there twice, and while I am yet to see a rose rock, it is a nice place to stay. The RV sites are gravel, and some are not well placed. Spot 15 is great. Great view.
We went on one of the hottest days of the year, and it seemed like everybody was having electrical issues. The camp host and maintenance guy were awesome and fixed the problems. I cant thank them enough. My only gripe was that at the spot we were at was on a really bad incline and made it difficult to get level.
We are camping here for the weekend, and both nights half of the campground lost power. This campground’s infrastructure needs work. Nice park otherwise.
Went a few months ago, it was cold, windy, and closed. . . But you know me, I parked and walked over anyway. Had different rock formations, unlike regular rose rocks . Almost like red crimson like lava. Found a very unusual, large, purple, black, and red Rock. Another similar, medium size rock. I managed to get them both to my truck. But let me tell you, it was difficult since I had to park considerably farther away than usual, but discovered strikingly different rocks for my collection, like never before. In fact, at Rose Rock Hill, didn't find one single standard, as we know,rose rock. Thunderbird, you always come through, for a new adventure every time. You never know what you might find, and always have fun. I shall return!
Clean restrooms, lots of shade and lovely picnic grounds...the park grounds where very neat and tidy
