The lake is way down.
The cabin was pretty “eh” to be honest, but the staff was good and the views were great. Who knew Oklahoma was this beautiful. Also there’s civilization not too far away. A Walmart around 20ish minutes.
At the time of writing the lodge is under construction, great view of the lake to make an amazing getaway
Lake is really low atm, but such a beautiful park! Will be back. Bet the sunrise and sunsets are excellent
This is a great little place if you are in the area. It’s known as Lake Altas / Lake Lugert / Granite Bay. It does have more droughts than not, but great biking and hiking, a nine hole golf course, camping with family and friends or just stop by the lodge on the mountain top like we did and enjoy the view, a beer and some lunch. Stay at the lodge or in a cabin- they even have a pool. I’ve stayed here before and was lucky to see a meteor shower lasting through the evening! They usually have festivals and other events when it’s not so Covid.
