Leaves were knee deep in our picnic area.nThey now charge parking fees $10.00 for 1 day.nWe were only there 2hours and had to pay this fee!nWon't be picnicing there anymore!

It was just okay. The state park is tucked between two busy highways. There's traffic noise all day and all night. And a train. We stayed in the Gopher Canyon area. It is on the edge of a 100 foot high, steep riverbank. Sites are pretty close together. There was a sandbag halfway down the bank, and a nasty mattress tucked in the woods in another campspot. The rangers should clean it up. We won't be back.

This park is so pretty and clean. We have camped here (tent) and have enjoyed every time. The staff is super nice and accommodating. We don’t fish but know a ton of folks who do and they love it. It’s a busy place in the summer time and a beautiful place in the fall. The Christmas drive through lights are awesome. I would reccomend this park.

This review is strictly for the boat launch area. First off the parking fee is the highest we have ever had to pay, the ramp has huge holes on both sides that your trailer will fall into which makes it difficult to offload and load your boat. In addition there is absolutely no light on the ramp which makes coming out after dark a pain. With the amount of people that use this ramp and the high parking fee of $10 which is supposed to go to the maintenance of the boat launch it should not be in such poor condition. We pay $3 a day for grand lake in grove where there's lights and much better ramps.
