One of my favorite spots to visit. From walking the banks of the Red River, to watching the pelicans & buzzards...I love it alllll!!!

Nice views of the spillway. Massive potholes. Some creepers watching my wife and I as we walked around. I can’t say I blame them because my wife is gorgeous but it’s still trashy behavior. At least be low key.nnAlso:nnI saw a massive male tarantula. It scared me so bad I will never return but it’s just doing what tarantulas do.nI didn’t call it (“here spidey, spidey, spide”) and I don’t recommend it. What would you do if it came? It could eat your face or a limb.

This parking area is located on a hill with a fantastic view of Lake Texoma. I highly recommend dropping by at sunset for an awesome view.
