It was a very scenic and beautiful. However, the campsites where very small and tightly packed. It was also very rocky and the places to pitch the tents where not paved, so it was inconvenient to walk around and pitch tents on rocks and stones. The fire pit also does not come with a grill. That being said, it was very pretty, and was a lot of fun. There is lots of space to run around and go walking. Around September-October is when the weather would be best. It is a great place, and would I would definitely recommend it.
Nice, cozy little camp ground on the lake. Nothing fancy but a good place to get away
The trails are kind of narrow and they go all over the place. It was fun and relaxing to sit at the camp fire at night. The tails are long and it's kind of easy to get lost. Cars drive along the road all night long, but it wasn't to noisy. There are 2-4 panel stalls set up across the camp and hitching posts by some of the camping spots. Overall, we had a great time and I'd definitely like to go back some time.
Today was my fisrt time being here. I only used the boat ramp to launch. It costs 5.00 and is via the honor system. When you get through the gate there is a pole telling boaters to register there. Fill your info in on the envelope and make sure you have a 5.00 bill. There is no one to make change for you.nnRamp is steeper then the one at Johnson Creek so it's easier to launch from and the design of the cove protects you from some of the wind driven current that pulls you around when coming in to pull out.nnAs my wife and I drove through we continually commented about what a great place to camp it would be, and the spots near the shoreline allow you to beach your boat there for the night during your stay.nnGreat location and will be back for many more activities in the future.
Very pretty park. The Equestrian side (a) has really nice pens and beautiful treed spots. The spots on B side are pretty close together but beautiful.
