I recently visited this shop, but did not boy or sell, but was able to receive a lot of advice from Ken! He was very friendly and patient with me while I asked questions about numismatics.

Attempted to buy a proof set from him. He quoted me a ridiculous price. Found the exact same item on Ebay for much less.nnHe is a nice guy but high prices.

Quick. Fast and honorable service. I had to drop in today to sell some silver and Ken is the Man! My favorite personable bullion dealer in the area. Look no further at any other shops and go talk to Ken today! Recommend for anyone. Best dealer in area!

In my opinion, NC Coppers is the best coin shop in the Raleigh area. Located in the Raleigh Fair Grounds, the store is open on Saturdays and Sundays. The owner, Ken Tireman Sr, is the most knowledgeable coin dealer in area. In addition to being highly knowledgeable about coins, he maintains a large inventory of US coins and paper money. I have regularly bought historical and modern US coins from Ken for several years and found him and his wife Lisa to be very friendly, honest, trust worthy and helpful. Ken buys and sells silver and gold coins and jewelry.
