Banjara Indian Boutique, North Carolina

I was looking for something beautiful, yet comfortable for my spur-of-the-moment wedding ceremony last month. With the pandemic, I didn't feel comfortable doing very much in-store shopping, so I looked for places online. When I found the Banjara website, I made an appointment and it was the best decision I could have made. With less than a month before my wedding date, and no idea what style of Indian clothing I wanted to wear, I was a very slow and indecisive customer. Thank goodness for the patience of the sweet woman who assisted me. She answered a million questions and showed me tons of fabric before I settled on what I wanted. There was a beautiful material in the store, which I loved, but I spoke aloud that I wished it were a slightly different color.nThe sales woman took my measurements, told me she would do her best to have my clothing to me on time, and I left.nnFast-forward to a couple of days before my wedding and I still didn't have my clothing. I was in a panic, but the lady assured me she was doing everything she could to make sure I had everything on time.nMy clothing arrived on my wedding day and when I went to the store to retrieve it, I was amazed to see that it was made from the exact color that I mentioned I wished I could have.nIt was absolutely beautiful and she tailored it to fit me perfectly and pinned my scarf in place for me before I left. She even helped me pick jewelry that accented the fabric perfectly.nnThey did a phenomenal job in a very short time and I received many compliments on the clothing.nThis woman did everything she possibly could in order to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day--including camping out at the shipping distribution center so that she could pick up my clothing in person, instead of waiting for delivery.nnI would absolutely recommend this boutique, and I would shop there again.nThanks again for all the time and care you showed me!

Terrible service I was so excited to go into this store for my wedding.When I first entered the place it smelled like alcohol the clothing had flees are them!The clothing had this terrible sent to them!The lady was very rude I had to wait 30 minutes for her to show the lenga I liked she was talking on the phone the whole time and laughing!I have never went to a disgusting place like this!I do not recomend dont waste your time the clothing looked very tacky!

I first went into the store terrible service do not recommend there was atleast 3 roaches on the floor the place reeked of cigarettes and alcohol.The clothes looked very tacky and had very bad material.

The lady here was very patient. She had about 8 people to help all by herself, and I was a very indecisive American that had no idea what to buy and had too cheap of a budget to get what i wanted. She was so nice I wanted to buy from her- so I decided i would spend twice what i had planned to buy the outfit i wanted. They aren’t overpriced, i just didn’t know what to expect to spend. But I LOVE my two piece dress! She has so many beautiful pieces it’s hard to choose! This boutique is a must see! ***I must also admit i procrastinated till the last minute to buy my outfit the night before the wedding. So she even tailored my top in 5 minutes and it fits perfectly! She’s a clothing genius!
