I just had an original grinder made be Shelly and it was perfection. I live out of town now but whenever I'm back home I always stop at Angelina's on West Housatonic Street. It always brings back childhood memories!! Thx Shelly, I'll be back!!! :-)
This place was a highlight of the trip! Great friendly staff. You have to try the Philly steak... OMG.
Prices are a little high for what you get. Too much bread and not enough sandwich. I may have been on a bad day but a large original has 4 slices of meat and 1 slice of cheese. Also asked for oil and got mayo.
They have delicious grinders. Best in the Berkshires
Ordered 2 footlong subs and a few hours later we discovered that the order was completely botched. My husband ordered a ham and cheese with mayo lettuce onion and pickle and I ordered an Italian with NO lettuce (hate lettuce) DOUBLE mayo oil&vinegar tomato pickle and green pepper. My husband’s ham and cheese had my double mayo oil &vinegar lettuce NO onion and pickle. And my Italian had so little mayo it was dry LETTUCE! 3 tiny tomato pieces pickle and green pepper. Both made with day old stale bread and 10 bucks for the Italian! That’s 20 bucks down the drain!
