A few weeks ago while I was waiting in line I watched as a gentleman was unable to pay for his items. After a moment someone from management came over and cleared the purchase even though this person did not have sufficient funds and his card had been denied several times. I was really impressed by how this person from management read the situation and handle it.
I will also say Harmons is one of the few businesses that have made me feel comfortable during a pandemic. From the very beginning they have taking covid-19 seriously and enacted procedures to help employees and customers be and feel safe while working or shopping.
I appreciate that they are local and seem to have invested in the local economy and community. For what it's worth I think it's important to reward that kind of behavior.
Friendly and local
On Saturday, October 31, 2020, we took some balloons to Harmons to have them filled with helium. They were balloons I ordered online and went with a certain theme that I would not be able to find at Harmons. I had a friend get them filled with helium for me, I just didn't have time to do it myself that day. I found out today, they charged the same price as if I were to buy them there. $50.00!!! I realize helium may not be cheap, and I don't mind paying that, but to charge me for balloons I didn't purchase there, is not what a neighborhood grocery store should do. They weren't even filled to capacity and the mylar ballons keep falling down.
Great place to get a wagyu American steak 11/20
Harmons has been my store since I moved to Utah 3 years ago. The service and especially the food has consistently been outstanding. I get deli meat slices as soon as I walk in the store and even if there’s one person back there, they help me right away every time. I’ve never found out of date food on their shelves and the quality of all of their brand name food is the best. I even bought masks there! Keep up the great work and thank you!
