Great gas station and miss Gary. From everyone wondering from my understanding he retired and later passed away. Nice guy and was always open for business.
What happened to Gary Styles? I haven't been there for a couple years. I hope he finally retired. He has run that station forever. I first met him there in 1976.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SHELL. This place is sketch. Crowded, small and dirty gas station. No one wearing a mask. Worst of all, we got bad/waterlogged gas and it caused us to break down on a rainy Christmas Eve while we’re still hours from our destination. I have no idea how to report them.
I was driving home on Christmas Eve, and my car was absolutely fine. I had gotten an oil change 2 weeks prior- no issues. I stopped for gas, put $12 in the tank, and went on my way. 4.9 miles from the gas station, I have to pull off because my car is turning over and lurching. I had AAA tow me to Huntersville, 45 minutes away. Waiting to hear what the problem is, sounds like watery/dirty gas...
I miss Gary styles!!! It don't feel the same with him not being there.
