Awesome Food and service.. will definitely stop in again.. one of the best Mom and Pop Steak houses around anywhere . So if you are on 278 heading east or west, I highly recommend you come see Mrs. Sonya and enjoy some great food.
We ate at the Sizzler outside of Oxford (about 10 minutes) last night and had a great experience. I had the chopped sirloin and baked potato because that's what I remember having there 40 years ago. It was delicious and as I remembered it. My daughter had the fried catfish and it was stellar! Served super hot with delicious and crispy outside. The restaurant was quiet on a Sunday night with only a few tables occupied -- probably due to it being Sunday. The service was excellent. The decor is typical roadside -- blue and white checked tablecloths. The hostess, waitress and guys by the front door (maybe the owner and buddies?) were very friendly and we had a great night without fighting the crowds of students at the start of the semester.
Awesome melt in your mouth food. Great people. We will be back in the near future. Sonya and her staff made us feel right at home.
Steak was delicious and well worth it my wife ate the fish and said it was the best she ever had
