Went in January and bought some Guppy fish. Specifically asked if they would breed. Was told no as it was only males, now have a bunch of fry. If they are going to tell the customer that, then they had best be sure.
Nice, clean store. Helpful, knowledgeable employee in the fish department. Great about refunding or credit if fish dies.
Dustin was great. Very knowledgeable on the fish and was patient as we asked many questions and chose the perfect fish.
There fish are covered in ick, lots of dead fish/snails ect. When picking out fish they ignored us to help someone else. Then told me a number of fish I could get when I already know how many I could get, which is more than they said. Went to check out they put a $10 donation and I asked what was that for and she said didn't you put that on there Seriously! Told her to take it off. They didn't put the right price of the fish being on sale so we paid full price but we had already left. Also all 9 of are tetra died of ick and infected our other fish. They should know when there fish are sick and shouldn't be sold. I do not recommend this place! There was only one person with some sense and was nice, wish I knew her name but she was a little new in the fish department but did really good.
Normally I am happy with Pet Smart. However I scheduled grooming and the canceled with no explanation. Needless to say, I did not reschedule.
