This is an awesome place. The food was delicious and the owners were extremely nice. Everyone who came into the restaurant was treated as family. On my next visit to Greenwood, will definitely stop by for the best soul food in the state of Mississippi.
Stopped by on a roadtrip through the South and felt like I was family with the service! The owners are amazing and gave us a education on what good soul food is. Amazing fried chicken, the best meatloaf you will ever have, and the list goes on and on! You must stop in for a bite! You will not be disappointed!
Great food, friendly service, AUTHENTIC soul food. If you are in Tchula, this is where you should be eating. If you're nice, and mind your business while you wait in line for this good food, they will ask you to sign the wall, IOW, don't go in rushing and being impatient- this is not fast food.
I found this little quaint restaurant through google maps when searching for restaurants on my current route. I am so glad I did!!n100% rating from me. Most friendly and welcoming staff and the food was truly outstanding. I was born and raised in the Deep South where soul food in a staple and this food was OUTSTANDING!!! I will make a point to go back, even if it isn’t on my route!
