Food was wonderful. Loved the twisted shrimp. First time trying Wild Honey Mustard sauce, love.it.nI used the restroom, one of the workers was as well. After using bathroom she did not wash her hands. When I came out there she was behind counter preparing food trays..
Popeyes is by far the best fried chicken anywhere. If I could eat there every day, I would. Spicy white meat and onion rings...my favorite order.
The only reason I give it one is so that I can leave a comment. The location in Collins, MS is absolute trash. I placed an order on the mobile app. When I arrived, I was told that 15 minutes is too long for the order to wait and that it was cancelled. No apologies. No attempt to rectify the issue.nWhat’s the point, then?nThe service here in the past has been lackluster at best. That’s why the mobile app.nI’m glad the place is doing so well that it turns away business.
The food was fresh and crispy with a light oil flavor. Wasn't heavy or weighted down. The cashier was nice and the drive thru was moving at a steady pace.
My entire order was completely wrong. Asked for dark meat, got one chicken leg and 2 wings, all of which had been under a heat lamp and were dried out and more like chicken jerky. Asked for no gravy on the mashed potatoes, got mashed potatoes loaded with gravy. Seasoned fries were cold. Biscuit was burned
