The room was comfortable, clean & moderately priced. I stayed 2 nights & was charged $86/night. I am a professional business traveler. The female(manager?) at the the front desk was polite and courteous to me during both of my meetings with her. The male (manager?) was in contrast, not courteous to me. He refused to speak when I greeted him politely in the hallway twice & glared at me with what I felt was a hateful look. The only thing he said to me during my stay here was that my children were making too much noise in our car as we were departing the property for an afternoon outing(approx 1:00 pm). It is important to remember that ALL customers are deserving of respect when they are respectfully patronizing your business & spending money with you. Although the hotel is located in a small, rural MO town, you're serving a broad customer base from a variety of places, backgrounds and experiences. Customers are sensitive to how they are treated when conducting business with you. Please be mindful of facial expressions, actions and how they appear to others. Staring and frowning at someone you do not know, who has done nothing to you and not speaking when greeted politely comes across as rude. I wish your business the best and ask for consideration & improvement in the areas I referenced above.
The place is well maintained, small fridge, 4 cup coffee pot. Dual vanity, small restroom, 1 person can fit. The TV is older, make sure its on channel 3 for clear reception. The pool is nice, but the hot tub and restroom were out of order(I believe it was covid). Due to my big family, they had conjoining room doors. Some of the other family had stayed in other locations near here, this is the best.
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff.nMy family and I stayed here for a night, the Husband and Wife owners were very nice and friendly. The indoor pool was clean and clear but a bit on the cold side. The ac/heating units work but if your use to sleeping under a fan you will want to bring your own the fans on the units don't circulate much air. Nice hot water showers and comfortable beds. I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to my friends and family.
It's a small town motel owned by a amazing couple that do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. Have stayed here numerous times and will continue to stay their anytime I'm in the area.
If I could leave a lower star I would this is possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in the beds are like sheets of rock and the decor is terrible the heater didn’t work in our second room. Lady came in and said oh we can fix it it was still cold for my kids so I ended up coming to my room, slept on the floor vs staying in a cold room. No amenities whatsoever it says a free breakfast hot breakfast no it was apple coffee and a muffin. Worst hotel ever for $178 never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It does have a pool but the hot tub was broken
