Awesome people!
Owner was extremely rude to me and confronted me about being on my phone in his store. I couldn’t figure out why he was so angry. His reasoning was that he didn’t know me. I was dressed well (polo shirt and jeans) and no one else was in the store at the time. I’m new to Williamstown, so not a good representation of the super friendly people that I’ve met sense being here. I will never go back to this convenience store even though it is right down the street from where I live. I’m not one to write reviews but in this case I felt obligated.
Reviews for gas station comes down to price, location, and if you pay inside, the disposition of the employees and cleanliness. So i went to this BP as more of a comfort stop. I was on a day off jaunt with a ride thru the Berkshires and do a little personal business. A few cups of coffee before the ride, started to remind me of that fact about a hour plus into the trip. Thus the BP stop when I didn't need fuel. I realized that the pumps were rebooting and the very nice employee was apologetic about the situation. It was due to a power surge and some left but it was back and I was pumping gas in about 7 minutes. So I have said sll this to relate it back to what I mentioned earlier on. The place was immaculate, the employee had a very good relatable and kind personality and was 20cents cheapee than NY, even though I barely put 8.00 in. So it checks all the boxes.
