Tour times listed but they don't answer their phone or call back. The sign says tours by appointment only. Don't waste your time driving here 'cause you might not get past the gate.nnEdit: You claim you didn't get the message in time but we called the day before on our way to St Louis from KC. A phone call within 24 hours would have been nice. My suggestion is that if you don't keep the actual hours posted (with listed tours likely not to happen), and no visitor's center you should advise travelers not to waste their time.

Book a tour! It's totally worth it. First time seeing a Frank Lloyd Wright house and this one was spectacular. Designed entirely out of geometric shapes. This is not a place you can just wander into, you'll have to book a tour otherwise the gates are locked. Recommend to any fellow St. Louisan or those visiting!

We went for a visit on a clear, beautiful day. My boyfriend’s cousin came up with the idea and set up our tour time online. I had no idea Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes that were built in the area. This is the only one that is a museum at the moment, so I recommend seeing it if you’re in the area! I studied Architecture and took over two years of Vocational Drafting in high school and learned of the Fallingwater home years ago, and this home is nothing like it. The inside of it has been restored so beautifully as well as the brick around the outside. From the beds, to the kitchen and flooring throughout, you’re going to want to be more creative with your home once you visit! The tour guides are very knowledgeable as well which is a huge plus! I wish I could share photos of the inside, but that is not allowed.

Definitely worth checking out if you are into Frank Lloyd Architecture and mid century modern houses. I took a tour was impressed by how well it was kept and how well the area was preserved.
