zero stars. unpleasant experience to say the least. red flags everywhere. had to cancel our order. they never would even answer the phone, and when you finally got the scheduler on the line, he would claim the appointment was never set. the day they were supposed to finally arrive, they never showed. I wish I would have seen these reviews prior. I can't believe that Home Depot actually uses this company. tarnishes their reputation. run away and get your money back.

Superior was the installer through Home Depot for a laminate floor and baseboard installation we had done in our master bedroom. The biggest issue is the quality of the work. The baseboards have open nail holes all around, the inside corners were not mitered, the baseboards were just butted against each other, there was no calk run between the top of the baseboard and the wall, there are large gaps in areas between the baseboard and the wall because it was not attached to the wall correctly, the quality of the joints that were mitered are poor. I was not offered a walk through or inspection before the installer left. The second issue is communication. There was some floor leveling that needed to be done that required more than the original one day as planned, which was fine. But it took 3 three weeks to get my one room floor install done. I was told people would be here one day and no showed up. They never returned one of at least 8 phone calls and 3 or 4 voice mails. If Superior reads this review and makes good faith attempts to fix the quality issues I will consider improving this review.

I had the install scheduled for a Monday afternoon. The installer showed up at 12:30 for a 12-2 window. I answered the door to him saying “carpet”. I asked are you here to install my carpet. He worked til 4:30 and came and said he had forgotten something he needed to complete steps. He told me he could come tomorrow and I told him I had to work as I had taken Monday afternoon off to have this completed. I told him I’d be home by 4 and he said he’d come then. He of course didn’t show so I left a message at superior for an explanation. On wed at 12 I am told they can complete Thursday late afternoon. 4 days for a simple carpet install??

I have been trying to get ahold of superior all week ever since my flooring was delivered on Monday 11-09. Have left 8 voice messages. I was told by rocki at the Overland home depot that they {superior } are very busy. Too busy to return a phone call ? I highly doubt it.. They need to change their name . I don't know where they are located but the phone number for the St. Louis location has NOT been operational since 2001.

I'm not sure what went wrong with some of the other installs and reviews I have read, but they were NOTHING like my experience with Superior and their crews. Scheduling, installing, follow up; everything went so smoothly for me it was like a dream! All I had to do was sit back, relax and wait for my beautiful new floors. And let me tell you: They. Are. Beautiful. Superior went above and even beyond for me by volunteering to pick up and deliver my product, a service they normally do not offer but something they were willing to do since the delivery company would not due to COVID19. The office crew made sure I was notified of procedure, what I needed to do to be ready, when the installers would arrive and what to expect; the installers made sure to walk my entire home with me to point out where they would start, where they would move my furniture and what steps they would take throughout. I have had many projects done through the Home Depot (we are remodeling our entire house, inside, outside, top to bottom - What else do we have to do during the lock down???) and Superior has by far been the best and most pleasant to work with. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking of new flooring skedaddle to their local Home Depot and request to work with these fantastic people!
