I've spent a fair amount of time in the dental chair over the years, with excellent providers. Dr. Matthes is at the absolute top of the class when it comes to both expertise and communication skills. My case presented a number of challenges that required coordination with an oral surgeon, and the results were better than I could have hoped. After years of limiting the kinds of food I ate, and never smiling in a way that would show my teeth, I can now eat and smile with no reservations. By nature I'm cautious and not one to give extravagant praise, but I cannot imagine that there is a more skilled prosthodontist in the St. Louis area than Dr. Matthes.

After a traumatic facial injury when I was 10 years old, I can finally say that this lengthy journey has ended. The team at Matthes Prosthodontics are nothing shy of amazing. From their caring demeanor, gentle bedside manner and overall excellence in care. Dr Matthes shows pure mastery in the field of dental implants. I not only have my smile back, but my self confidence as well. A truly life changing experience! This team has impacted my life in ways there are no words for. You have my deepest gratitude.

If I could give 10 stars to Dr. Matthes and his entire team I would! Patience , perfection, honesty, and expertise are just a few words that come to mind when thinking about my experience! I’ve been self conscious about my smile for as many years as I can remember, and being in my 40’s I did not want to consider braces ! I was referred to Dr. Matthes by a good friend and I can say without hesitation, he did not disappoint ! He has exceeded my expectations and and I can now smile with confidence! if you’re looking for the perfect prosthodontist, STOP LOOKING, because you have found him. Dr. Matthes and his team were amazing and supportive through my whole mouth reconstruction. I can promise you won’t find better results with anyone! I never thought I would love my smile but now i can’t stop smiling (even through my mask)!
