Dentistry for Children & Adolescents

Dr. Wong is excellent with kids and how he communicates with them (as well as with the parents), straight forward and explains thingsnto us so we have a full understanding as to any issues, expectations and understanding. Dental hygienists and office staff are very friendly and helpful. Even though it is not a convenient location for us- (it takes us about 45 -50 minutes to get there) my son and I are both have been very happy with them all and will continue to go there. My son (12 yrs old) said he does not care for the longer drive but he wants to continue with Dr. Wong and his staff. When a kid and a parent are good with the same dentist.....that is golden!

Wow! This place is AMAZING!! I took my 6 year old because he has an infected tooth and they made him smile and laugh the entire time! He went in crying before we even walked through the doors and came out super happy. I was in awe with how they treated him!! Thank you!

Dr Wong is a good dentist and he took care of my children’s dentistry need. However lately it seems the practice focuses more on money than anything else. There was a family emergency and we needed to reschedule our appointment. When we called we were told we cannot reschedule our appointment. We were told if we do our kids can develop infection and the doctor will not be liable for that. It was a routine appointment and the kids were fine and not complaining of any pain etc. We were told we had postponed some other previous appointments as well in the past by calling the office beforehand and by doing so we were jeopardizing the care of our kids. Infact on more than one occasion the appointment was swapped for one child over the other by the doctor himself saying one was more important than the other. You can’t just swap appointments like that also as kids need to be requested to leave class beforehand for doctors appointment. It’s a pity that a good practice has become so money minded that they make no concessions for kids school schedule or family emergencies. Lately their focus is on doing the most expensive procedures regardless whether a child needs it or not. The staff has become so rude to our utter surprise as we always had a good visit to the doctor before. Don’t understand their frustration in discharging their loyal patients who referred many patients to their practice. In our opinion kids will be best served by a dentist office who truly cares, put money behind the interest of patients and do procedures that are medically necessary.
