Ryder last mile destroyed our west elm bed during installation. (over torqued fasteners causing the bed to fall apart within two days). Then it took them nearly two months to pick the bed up. They scratched my wood floor during installation and removal. I will never use west elm, or any business that delivers with ryder last mile.
Terrible service. Was suppose to have a sofa delivered. The installers knew before they arrived that there were 2 flights of stairs to traverse. However, without measuring (which I had done and verified the furniture would fit) these guys took one look at the stairs and weren't even willing to try. I realize they do this every day but they took zero measurements and then claimed that the space was "too narrow and unsafe". I'm sorry but the EXACT SAME installers removed a different couch months before with no problem - and that sofa was larger.
Seriously the WORST delivery company out there! We are going on 3 weeks with no delivery dates available! Sam's Club should definitely not work with this company any more!
Update!
We finally got our TV that we ordered November 11th on January 3rd. They called at 5 pm to see if they could come in an hour and ended up coming 2.5 hours after they called. The delivery guys were nice but its seriously the worst company to deal with!
Contractors don’t get pay right. 👎 worse salary
This company is quite possibly thee worst company I’ve ever reviewed and that’s saying something. Unfortunately after buying a house I learned that most furnishing companies use MXD. They have been late in every single item I have ordered. I’m not talking days late I’m talking months late. My console was 3 months late and a painting I ordered was 2 months late. How can this company still be in business? How are reputable companies like Crate and Barrell and west Elm still using them? Maybe if enough people continue to review them badly they will get a clue.
