We bought a home with a Patriot sunroom that had been installed about a year ago. We were so excited about it because it was truly a beautiful addition to a lovely home! We were also glad that it was recently built since we figured it would be problem-free for years. A month into owning the home (a little over a year after it was built) we walked in to a flooded room due to a leak in a joint of the roof. These things happen with additions, but it was a little appalling that it happened so soon after it was built. We contacted Patriot right away but were informed that since the previous owners did not purchase a warranty, it would cost us $125 just to have a repairman come out- plus whatever they decide the cost of repair would be. I understand that this is the risk of the previous homeowers not purchasing a warranty. However, it's a shame that Patriot will not stand behind their work for even a year or two. Two stars because it is a beautiful sunroom. Not five stars because I am not looking forward to years of dealing with an obviously defective sunroom and a company that will not make good on its mistakes.

I am posting this on behalf of my family- who I have heard nothing but horror stories from since the estimate. If you have reservations or concerns with “will they drop the ball after they get my deposit?” From my parents, and elderly grandparents experience- the answer is absolutely. Half of an $18,000 sunroom that has yet to be started (supposed to be FINISHED end of August/beginning of September) has already been given to them- with nothing but excuse after excuse to actually execute the job. Now they are told it won’t even be started until October! Their estimate was done in July, and they accepted Patriot Sunrooms bid shortly there after. As with any home improvement- you base life around work that is being completed. This has now snowballed into vacation planning disasters, conflicts on hosting family functions, and my poor grandparents have just been so sick to their stomachs feeling that they have absolutely been taken advantage of. The customer service representatives at your St. Peter’s location (names upon request) could absolutely not care ANY less. Their comments were “well we don’t guarantee dates”. Something my family looked SO forward to- is now such a complete nightmare. A little more customer service, understanding, and accommodation would have gone a long way. If the date gets pushed back for a 3rd time, I will update!

I have a Patriot sunroom that was installed by the previous owner of the home I now own.nnThe sunroom developed a small leak after after me owning the home for several years and I have no idea how old the sunroom was when I purchased the home.nnI contacted Patriot out of St Peters, MO and was extremely impressed with their service, professionalism and price.nnThey schedule a service call right away, followed by two technicians coming out to do a fantastic job of repairing the leak. They went above and beyond by even repairing a small portion of my shingles while up there and after several weeks my roof has not leaked a drop!nnThey did all of this at what had to be a loss of income to the company, sending two men from St Peters to Bonne Terre, MO and spending several hours cleaning and sealing! I could not be happier!nnVery clearly Patriot stands behind what they sell, they did all of this and I had never spent a penny on their business, as mentioned above the sunroom came with the house when i purchased it.nnThanks for a great job and standing by your product!nMark
