Jacob Pratt - State Farm Insurance Agent

I have been with Jacob Pratt State Farm for about 7 years. On December 22, I noticed that they were withdrawing around $250.00 per month extra for my insurance, for two months in a row. I called and was told that I added my son to my insurance. That was not the case. My 21 year old son moved in with me temporarily . He had his own insurance with State Farm (not Jacob Pratt). A few months after he moved in, he lost his job due to the pandemic. He called State Farm to cancel because he could no longer afford the insurance with no job. State Farm told him they were not cancelling any policies due to no payment because of the pandemic. However, they did cancel and added him to my insurance without my knowledge.nI called the office to figure out what was going on and spoke to an agent.nI was VERY angry. I asked to speak with Jacob Pratt. I was told Jacob was at lunch and he would return my call when he got back. That did not happen. On December 23rd, I drove 30 miles to their office to address my concerns. I was told that Jacob was given the issue and he could not see me that day, but I could schedule an appointment. I travel for a living and only available 3 days out of a month.nI called back the day after Christmas and asked to speak with Jacob and again was told he was at lunch and he would return my call when he got back. He never returned my call.nFor a client that pays a lot of money for insurance for my car and home I think he could find time to discuss my policy and why changes were changed without notification.nTo deduct about $250.00 from someone's account between Thanksgiving and Christmas (twice) during a pandemic is unconscionable. I paid my premium on time for 7 years and received nothing in return.
