I love this school so much! My friends are amazing and I cant wait to spend six more years at this school! The teachers are wonderful and even though some of the students could make a change, everything is great!
(2018) I am a student in IB at Central and everything is amazing! One of the best things about Central is that the students are so wonderful and accepting of everyone. The teachers are super passionate! Also, you didn't hear this from me, but the building is secretly Hogwarts.
Not an alumni, but all 3 of my girls now attend Central. We actually transferred one of our girls out of Glendale after her life was threatened and the school did nothing, they didn't even write anything about it even though I spoke to the Assistant Principal after the event. Central has so much to offer. They have outstanding courses and groups, I just wish they had more funding for theatre and Kilties.
It's a school alright. *2.5 starsnI like the school but no school can get a 5 starsnIB seems pointless and overrated and most kids are annoying bragging how good their grades are and complain how they want to die. I quit because of these reasons. An Honors student it is just as good. If you are in regular courses no one seems to care aside from the teacher, so unfortunately there is no in-between. You will for sure meet some people that you will have a lifetime friendship with if you are even a bit social. Depending on what type of student you are, you will find yourself suffering over grades and panicking that you won't get into that California college that has a 27.5% acceptance rate, or at least in my case. Make sure if you are a student to level out your social life with your school life, because you will suffer either way if you mainly focus on one. I'm looking forward to getting outta here in a couple of years! the world will be mine.
As of right now, I am an incoming freshman, all of my older siblings have gone to and transferred to central from kickapoo for the IB program. The diversity of Central High School is great( in the cafeteria there are flags of all the country's that there are students from) the sports are improving and my students are proud to be bulldogs, including me. Go bulldogs.
