Char Steakhouse and Oyster Bar

Just ate here for the first time. New to Springfield. We were sat in the lounge rather than the dining room because we wanted a more laid back space. We sat by the bar and our server made us feel super comfortable ud83dude00The drinks are discounted at happy hour. I loved how the servers are dressed, super nice & professional! Ashley was great, she had all the recommendations. We also liked the fire pits outside on the patio! Can’t wait to be back!

Char has the BEST happy hour in Springfield! Hands down, our favorite.The atmosphere is excellent. The food is fabulous and the service is top notch. The staff is attentive. Alesha is always absolutely amazing, accommodating, and incredibly sweet and bubbly. She makes the experience so fun and enjoyable. She is a jewel! Stop by and see her.

First time here and gotta say really enjoyed the ambience and service. The oysters were a little expensive for how small they were (20$ for 6), but after tasting the dry aged steaks I felt a little better. I got the Delmonico and the wife got the porterhouse. Perfectly seasoned steaks a little off on the temp but still amazing experience.nFor the price not somewhere I would go often but with the quality food and service, definitely somewhere I'll visit again.

If you're looking to have a luxury dining experience, this is the place. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The food is always top notch and they have an unbelievable wine & spirits selection to top it all off. This kind of experience is not easy to come by, especially in Springfield. The management should be extremely proud of themselves and what they're able to deliver to their guests each and every visit. Hats off to all of you, it's always a pleasure. Thank you!

I highly recommend eating here I’ve never had a bad experience and I go to char 2-3 times a month! I would go more but I’m constantly on the road for work! Amazing wine selection and some of the best steaks in Springfield but do not miss out on trying the salmon Oscar. Great atmosphere and every server I’ve had to deal with has been amazing, any issue I’ve brought to there attention about somthing not being to my liking is taken care of. Also recommend there happy hour specials if you’re just in the mood for something small and a drink!
