Midtown Carnegie Branch Library

3 children and myself waited outside, for an appointment we were early to. I guess this is loitering, on public property. Instead of waiting outside we had to go inside were i spent the next hour trying to keep a mask on two small kids. This is public property and we had a purpose for being there. We were not hurting anything or anyone. Your policies do not over write peoples rights to peacefully use what our taxes pay for.nEdit to response- The security officer was just doing what you told him to do. I already spoke to you. This rule was made by the administration, not by the guard on duty. I was told by you guys that the rule was there because of problems with the homeless. I'm clearly not homeless, but if thats your response to what you assume is a homeless mom with 3 kids, shame on you.. You are a public service paid for by the public, inside and out, act like it.

Wonderful as always, went for the free seed today. Great library, good fun and happy people. You can't beat that!

This is by far my favorite library in springfield. The librarian is really nice and it's small and cozy

It's clean, well stocked, computers to use, and staff a very friendly.

I liked it clean good environment, the folks that worked there where nice. I felt safe and being new to the city coming from the country I didn't feel in any harm's way! Thanks very much!
