One of my absolute favorite buildings of Missouri State University as a student there. Peaceful and quiet. View of the beautiful John Q Hammons fountain from within. Beautiful basement. On the second floor, a few treadmills on which people can read or work on a laptop computer while walking to burn off some fat, which can save time!

I'm personally not a fan of the change of hours, but I do understand. Had to do some serious studying tonight and everything was going well, but they turned the lights off at 9:50, and I wanted to have at least 5 more minutes to finish an assignment, and this made me feel rushed. I'd suggest not turning lights down until closer to the formal time of close, but otherwise I very much appreciate the library and its staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Open to the public (check with staff for guidelines on use). Metered visitor parking available in nearby lots and on ground floor of parking building.
