Quinn Dental

Went in for a cleaning, and was told I had three cavities. They gave me a proposed treatment plan, and suggested I used composite fillings due to the location of the fillings. The proposed treatment plan was only going to cost me $205. However, after having the fillings done, and paying the $205, I received a bill for an additional $450 because they said my insurance didn't cover the composites, even though they contacted them to develop the proposed treatment plan. When I called to discuss it with their billing department, the individual was not empathetic in the least bit. Additionally, my fillings have been extremely sore and sensitive to cold, and it's been a month since I had them done.nnAlso, while at the appointment for my fillings, the receptionist and a few dental hygienists were talking about how the former receptionist passed away, and it was implied it may have been link to mental health issues. It seemed very unprofessional, and one would think in a field that is governed by privacy acts, they would approach a private thing, like an employee possibly committing suicide with more respect than they did. I had only interacted with the deceased a handful of times, as I was a new patient, so it was really none of my business. It should never have been discussed in the open like that.nnWill not go back.nnEdit: Chelsea, the receptionist, and Penny, Dr. Quinn's wife called me and were very concerned about how the situation was handled. Because of this, they comped the $450 they were going to bill me. I appreciate the followed up customer service, and they both couldn't have been kinder to me.

I went in for a filling, i had no pain prior to the appointment. after my appointment I had intense pain in my tooth, so I went to another dentist today and they did x-rays. And I found out that the filling is in my nerve. any dentist knows where the nerve is.

Dr. Quinn is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. The staff is very professional and kind. Definitely would recommend to my fellow students at Missouri State

I have been going here for 10 years. Shelly always remembers me, talk to me about things that we discussed 6 months ago, and all of my dental work has been done to my satisfaction.

soon getting braces..... Kind of scared dont know if I should really go there or nottttt :(
