This church loves others well. They do their best to be the light of Jesus in Springfield.

Really great parking. However despite a police presence it is not advisable to park in back overnight. People steal gas.

I recently attended at a beautiful wedding ceremony at this church. It is the perfect venue for a small church wedding. It is clean with lovely wood floors and pews and beams in the ceiling.nnStained glass windows and the shape of the sanctuary going up into a cathedral arch is really lovely.nnThere is ample parking and a gas station right across the street as well.

I've never been to this church, so I cannot do a review of it. Unfortunately, I received a message from someone who I do not know and who does not know me regarding my children and my ex. It was a very hateful message and I was extremely shocked because this person is a staff member (Dawn Poindexter) at this church. It's very troubling to think that not only a woman, but a woman that says she is of God, would send a total stranger, who is a victim of domestic violence a hateful message telling them that it is their fault. Clearly they have no clue what is going on and I'm sure have been told some very far fetched things. The most disturbing part about this is that this is a well-known church and I'm sure people have confided in this woman. I'm sure her life is not perfect as no one is. I hope for her sake that she never has to go through anything bad in life. I'm not sure why she thought she had the right to judge anyone, to speak down on anyone, and to speak on the situation at all. To tell a woman it is her fault for what happened in a domestic violence situation is insane. I do ask that her congregation prays for her. Also that no one else has to be treated the way I was by this woman of God.
