This place is truly amazing. I went in nervous because I did not know what my property taxes were because I did not get a form in the mail with a bill and no bill was showing up. Every person that I spoke to was extremely kind to me. First I spoke to Tabatha she took care of me so efficiently found what I needed to know and told me where to go next. She was very kind. Then I went to the next office and a wonderful lady name Lisa helped me there she was so sweet and every person I heard talking to people in that office was being so kind. Lisa found what I needed to know found my assessment form I had sent in and told me exactly where to go to next. And then I went to the next office and I spoke to a very kind lady who printed out the property taxes that I would owe in a very kind and caring way. Then I went to the next office and I spoke to Teresa and Katie where you pay the property taxes. Both of them were so helpful and the supervisor was able to help me also in that office. Teresa and Katie were so kind to me in this office and that I ended up getting tears in my eyes knowing how hard you all work.And I know you answer the same or similar questions all day long every day and you help people every day. And I wanted to tell you that it means a lot in a year that could be full of so much struggle for so many like every year is in different ways. I am trying to register a vehicle I purchased in December. I own another vehicle and have not received my personal property tax bill for it and it shows $0 online with the excuse it is a software issue. The license office will not give me my plate for my car without this document. You call the # and get a recording stating they are closed for a holiday. It is 2/16/21. They were closed Fri for Lincoln's birthday, Sat,Sun and Mon for Presidents day. So 4 days with today being day 5 due to weather? Today was the best day we have had in 3 days. Everyone in the private sector worked today but not the Accessor or the Collector. You could at the least reply to email or answer the phone. The world does not stop because it snowed. So, are they going to take 9 days off because of snow? Terrible way to collect taxes. It is way too complicated just to get a license plate for a vehicle. I have lived in 5 states and never had this much red tape for a license plate. Very unhappy with Greene Counties management.

After finally finding what I needed it went smooth. Website is hard to find what you need or where to go.

Called many, many times. The number hangs up on you after waiting on hold for 15 minutes. Left my number for a call back several times but no one ever bothered to call.nThey may as well stop wasting tax money on having a phone number.

They are very nice people I like doing shopping there they got a little bit of everything
