The providers are pretty nice and upfront about having Therapy service which totally makes sense. Why would you go for mental health if you don't have talk therapy to go along with meds. I like that part.nnThe office staff however is HORRIBLE. They are rude and inconsistent with their answers. Not very helpful even when trying to navigate insurance. Awful service and poor manners.

I received prompt care and am pleased with the professionalism.

At the beginning I thought this whole idea of Chesapeake Health Care was going to be so great because the doctors were all located in one place and all the doctors would be able to cross reference each other and so on. I've been seeing them for over a year now at the Princess Anne location and all I have to say about this place is they're all about the money and not about the patients. I have had issues with each one of my doctors offices including the dentist office at Chesapeake Health Care. They all want to overcharge or oversee the patients. I can go into so many details but long story short they have no respect or empathy for their patients all they want to do is make sure they see you over and over and over and over and over again so they can collect the insurance money and co-pays. Since March the dentist office has made me come in over 8 times for a cleaning and for four fillings.nMy primary care physician wants to see me every two or so months even if I don't have a problem or have any need to see a physician. She will not refill any of my medications if I have not come to see her within two or so months. It's really wasting the patient's time I understand the doctors need to see the patients occasionally to keep up with their medications and that's a law and insurance requires that but it's not every two or so months I've worked with doctors offices my whole life and I know it's at least every 4 to 6 monthsthat you need to be seen in order to keep up with your medications. The mental health office has also messed up my whole medical plan because this past month I had to cancel one appointment with my counselor and unfortunately canceling that appointment somehow made me void for the program and instead of contacting me or telling me at the time I canceled that this was going to affect the program I was in then I would have rescheduled at that time and made sure I got back in more quickly. Instead I went in for my appointment with my psychiatrist and they told me at that time that I was now an inactive patient and I would have to start the process all over again and that I should have received 2 notices in the mail alerting me, which I have never received. Needless to say I have not been impressed with this medical facility in the least. I am unfortunately in the process of getting surgery and will have to stay with these doctors until that is finished but at that point I will begin looking for all new physicians. As for the dentist I have to wait until the next calendar year to try to find a new dentist. The medical community and the insurance companies have really started screwing with patients and not giving them the excellent medical care we should be receiving and are instead much too concerned about the money they will be bringing in that's all it's about anymore it's very hard to find a good doctor these days. Also, most of Princess Anne's receptionists are extremely rude and always sound annoyed, especially the ones at the dentist office.

Called this morning, was hung up on twice. The young lady I did speak with should have been trained on phone etiquette. If I'm not rude to you I dont expect to be treated in a rude manner. Patients are your customer. Since this change occurred service has not been good. I already changed my childrens doctor. My husband and I will be changing as well.nThe staff that has been there are still great.

CHC has been life saving for me. I have never received better care across the medical and mental health.
