A neat little trail. You can access it from both sides of the highway, but it is easier to get to on the west side of 13. It is part of a riverside park which has a playground, tennis and basketball court, and an outdoor stage. The riverside portion of the trail is in decent condition and has ramps to make it easily accessible. Some of the trail through the woods has had roots grow up underneath it causing it to tilt, but it seems quite sturdy. The trail is a mixture of boardwalk and dirt path. Maybe a mile roundtrip. I included a stroll through downtown Pocomoke and made about 3 mi.

Note that Google Maps will drop you off on Rt 13 bridge if trying to reach the trail head that is actually by the town's pier and Pocomoke City river area. The trail ends at the canoe and kayak drydock launcher and Pocomoke City Nature Trail's fishing pier (drawbridge not visible at this point). The signs also claim that this is Pocomoke City Nature Trail and not Cypress Trail, nor indicating any national forest.

Awesome trail for a town as small as Pocomoke. Nice boardwalks and beautiful, unique wetland and cypress swamp.
