NOPD 2nd district is utterly redicolous. All policemen are trained to take a report, I cannot understand why I needed to wait for a traffic officer to finish with one accident to proceed to mine. I contacted them at approximately 4:40pm, it is currently 6:03pm and I have not been assisted yet. The person has left the scene and I am here in a busy traffic area with my 2 minor kids. I am flabbergasted at the attitudes you receive when they signed up for the duty to protect and serve. New Orleans Police Department is a joke, LITERALLY!!!!

Officer Tusa was very professional when my son and I went into the Second District Police station on Wednesday the 13th of March to report my son's car missing. He did not recall what happened to the car and Officer Tusa was very patient and professional in taking his statement on what he could remember. Officer Tusa was not judgmental of my son for having no memory of the incident. Instead, Officer Tusa offered a variety of scenarios that could have unfolded and led to losing the car. A detective even came over and drove out to the pound to see if the car was there after a delinquent ticket sweep. The missing car report was filed and later that night, Jefferson Parish called to say they located the car abandoned in a Metairie neighborhood. Thanks to the professional officer taking my son seriously and filing his report we were able to be notified and picked up the abandoned vehicle without having to retrieve it from a pound.

Police from this district is not very professional. A policeman patrolling my area made slanderous statements about my character to my neighbors. I thought the police was suppose to conduct a professional demeanor at all times.
