This place is so cool! The rotating cocktail menu has some incredible and unique drinks.
Excellent Jazz music, drinks, and overall scene. This is a small little speakeasy located right in the French Quarter. Drinks are top-notch and beers are fairly priced. If you're visiting and want a classy place to have a nice cocktail at, it's an awesome spot. If you want to walk by and grab a quick beer for the walk to other places, definitely stop by and listen to the Jazz music for a second.
Possibly worth a visit for you!nLoved the piano player and music.nIt wasn't too busy when we were there which was nice (4PM on NYE).nMy drink was okay but my friend's was not! We actually sat at a table where someone left the same drink half gone on the table (maybe reconsider having this drink on the menu?)nBartender was not very welcoming, and super slow in preparing drinks. I could see taking your time on a slower night but on NYE the point should be to get out as many drinks as possible? And of course to be nice!!
Great place to meet and catch up with friends.
We loved that the live jazz bands played swing music with stronger melodies, and we appreciated that customers were not discouraged from talking to each other while enjoying the music. We loved soaking in the atmosphere while catching up. The drinks are great too!
