Great Cajun food. Love my heritage state but this place is one of the best around

Most of the good was impressive, but my wife's fried veal was burned. I had a hot sausage poboy. This place reminds me a lot of Rocky and Carlo's except without the long lines. It's a bit off the beaten path for me, but if you're in the area it's good food.

Went in for lunch and waited awhile to have my order taken. After my order was taken (seafood gumbo) it took forever to get my food. Had to ask for it be packaged togo since I don't have a long lunch break. All total, sat for almost an hour before getting food.
