Quirky and cool vibe. They have music regularly and it is always lovely - importantly, not too loud so you can still have intimate conversations with your party. I always appreciate a hefty cheese plate, and they do it perfectly.

Missed Bacchanal on our last visit and after a superb dinner at El Cucuy, we wanted a nightcap in a bottle from a faraway land where English is an afterthought but Friends still the number one show on TV.nnWe called and they graciously squeezed us in on the large open patio under the moist night sky. Super careful, we scanned the QR code and ordered from the table. The mixed olives and Malbec arrived and we munched and drank with hurried appreciation as we had under an hour. The combo took us back to Bucharest where many places serve olives with wine like chips and salsa at a Tex-Mex joint.nnSomehow we missed that there were mustard pods among the olives, but that was stunning welcome surprise and just gave us an excuse to douse with more wine!nnGo!
