Omg what a hidden gem!! Only 1/2 mile from I-10 exit at Butte LaRose. The burgers are cooked to order, thick seasoned handmade & many extras to order as dressings. Homemade hot dogs & chili, large menu. Ppl come from all over to get the Boudin spread which is a mock of chicken salad made with pork. They make their own boudin!!! I think it competes with those folks in Scott, LA. Talk about good!!! Homemade bread pudding muffins. Omg!!! Family owned & very friendly!

Stopped in here for a quick bite before heading out on a swamp tour. Now we weren’t quite sure what to expect when we pulled up but were very very happy we stopped here! Very clean, friendly staff, and good selection of items.nnWe (mistakenly) stuck to the basics with our food order but after trying the boudin we wished we had ventured out and ordered the unknown! Don’t get me wrong, the fried catfish was on point and the hamburger was better than most restaurants burgers (complete with fried onions and a little kick) but the boudin is where it is at! Dale fixed us up a small piece to try and even managed to get my 8yr old to give it a try. So good! Our favorite though would have to be the boudin dip. He let us have a little taste of that dip and I can honestly say it was amazing! Think like a cajun chicken salad with sausage instead of chicken. Even my picky eater said it was amazing! Also, if you are there you have to get a bread pudding muffin, or five! So good! Probably our favorite restaurant stop so far on this trip.

Fun little store with great staff and food! We bought everything they gave samples for. Our first time for boudin. I think we started with the best!

My mom lives in Butte larose and every time I visit her I stop at this store .Food is excellent and the owners are absolutely the nicest and most accommodating people ever.
