Ochsner Pharmacy & Wellness The Grove

They get one star for being conveniently located in the same building as the practitioners. They only deserve one star because of their hours (88-5:30, M-F, closed on weekends) and the fact that it is nearly impossible to transfer a prescription from them. I live about 20 miles away and am currently on my 5th attempt to get a prescription transferred. There is no excuse for making things so difficult.

This is a good pharmacy that always fills orders fast. It’s very convenient if you have just had a doctors appointment at Ochsner and need some meds. I wish there was a way to order prescription refills online. I’ve always had to call and speak to a staff member because I can’t remember prescription numbers. The location is annoying to get to if you only have refills to pick up, but the pharmacy seems to offer a good variety of medicines so you may not need to go as often for refills. (Ask about getting multiple months supply)
