Louisiana Dental Center - Addis

I usually go to the BR Louisiana Dental Center, but they didn’t have an in house surgeon at the time so I went to Addis. They scheduled me a wisdom teeth removal surgery for 12/19/20. A few weeks later I wanted to confirm my appointment day and was told I had to be rescheduled since the doctor would not be there. 1. Why wouldn’t the doctor be there after I have been scheduled for the appointment for a month?nSo, they changed my appointment to 1/23/21. Not even a week before my appointment (1/18/21) I got a call saying the doctors would again not be in office due to emergency surgery. I had called 1/16/21 to confirm and everything was fine then. They tried to push it back again until 2/20/21, but due to insurance, and my two appointments already moved, I told them no and to find a way to make the 23rd work. They transferred me to the Baton Rouge office (which now has a surgeon) for the same day, just earlier. After my surgery at the BR office, I found out that they only took 3/4 teeth (one was not covered and would be an out of pocket cost). I was furious and called and was told today that Addis never sent over the agreed upon treatment plan of all 4 teeth and the final costs. I am extremely annoyed with this office and now will have to undergo another surgery later in life. If they transfer you, make sure all documentation is right (hard to know if no one says anything is wrong) and just assume they made a mistake. Thankfully, I no longer have to go back to this office. Don’t get your surgery here.

Dr Trauth and all the staff I have encountered at Louisiana Dental Center are excellent! They are professional, thorough, and know how to make you feel calm and comfortable in their facility. The facility is spotless, and the wait time for me has always been very minimal. I would highly recommend Louisiana Dental in Addis for all your dental needs!!

The Best Place to go and visit would be Louisiana Dental Center to Visit Dr. Trauth . He is amazing, He explains All procedures from beginning to the end. He makes you feel Comfortable. I was extremely Nervous and He made me well right at Home.. He is the Best.. Thank You Dr. Trauth

My first visit to this office was an absolute pleasure. I was greeted upon entry by a welcoming staff. My hygienist was knowledgeable and very polite. The dentist, Dr. Buddy was a great time! I’ll definitely be returning in 6 months for another routine cleaning. I was also glad to know that they see children as young as 3 years old.
