We visited Northside after remodeling our house in search of a nine piece dining set. Our sales lady (Michelle?) was very knowledgeable about the tables we were thinking about and not at all pushy. I try to be a good steward of my money, so I felt like we at least needed to look at another store before deciding. We drove to Ivan Smith beside Pecanland Mall in Monroe. The difference in every aspect of our shopping experience was like night and day. First of all, the prices were higher. Second, the furniture just looked cheap and there was nothing on the floor that looked anything like what I wanted. I was in search of a timeless piece, not trendy. In the end we went back to Northside. I now have beautiful dining room table that will seat eight adults comfortably. I can honestly say that I have a piece of furniture my children might fight over when I'm gone! Thank you Dumas Family and staff for being so patient with us and even letting my son entertain you with his bull whip skills! He wants to visit often! You'll definitely be my first stop next time I'm in the market for a fine piece furniture!
